With regards to the GPU issue for Imac you should try a google search to see if it can be replaced and to what spec you can go. A new GPU and extra ram would be cheaper but if you want a new PC for other uses aswell then check the specs for games you want to play and maybe get a local PC store to build it for you. |

Ah, fair enough. Good luck with your quest and remember to check local PC stores and ask them for component lists, most should have these and then you can compare the prices for what you want in the PC and get it made in that shop. Or if you can build a PC or a friend can help/build it then get all the components at the cheapest price possible with no assembly charge, well maybe more than a few beers if a friend does it or helps.
You should be able to find decent pre-built ones on ebay like this. It should have what you need.
